Reforestation Reloaded: gamigo pledges over 105,000 Trees to Eden Reforestation Projects

It's only thanks to the players that this partnership was, once again, a great success.

gamigo is thrilled to announce that its second partnership with the Eden Reforestation Projects has been successfully concluded. Players were able to purchase special Charity-Packages throughout December and January. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, enough funds have been raised to plant over 105,000 trees.

"We are grateful to our dedicated community. Once again gamigo is able to support the important work of Eden Projects and we are happy to be part of such an essential movement. We will continue to support more campaigns of this kind in the future. Thank you to all our players who participated in our Christmas Charity!" Says Jens Knauber, COO of gamigo Group.

To motivate fans, in addition to the packages, gamigo's leaderboards were created. These show how many trees each community planted and how many players participated. Players were also able to win fantastic prizes from gamigo's cooperation partners, Gigabyte, Roccat and Monster, in the charity raffle. In total, Eden Reforestation Projects will be planting 105,910 trees on behalf of gamigo. Just one player, OrdeWingate, contributed a total of 685 of these trees and gamigo would like to thank everyone who took part in this important initiative!

About Eden Reforestation Projects

Eden Reforestation Projects are actively combating the climate crisis as they restore forest systems one tree at a time, alleviating the devastating effects of deforestation. And every tree planted serves to protect, provide, nurture and sustain all of life. But the work done by Eden Reforestation Projects also rebuilds communities. Fair wages and a commitment to skill-building and employment for women and single parents helps keep farmers from selling themselves or their families into slavery just to survive.
