The World's Largest Gathering of Women Technologists Expands its Reach to Thousands in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa

AnitaB.org, the global non-profit focused on intersectional gender and pay parity in tech, today announced that Sheree Atcheson and Evelyn Namara will participate in the organization’s first-ever Grace Hopper Celebration in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The event will take place virtually on May 25-27, 2021.

Listed as one of the UK's Top Most Influential Women in Tech & an international multi-award winner for her services to Diversity & Inclusion in industry, Sheree (@_nirushika_) is a Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Senior Executive; Advisory Board Member, Women Who Code; Contributor, Forbes. She is the Author of "Demanding More" (with Kogan Page Publishing) - a book which aims to teach readers about how deliberate exclusion has been in systems and society, so we can be purposefully and deliberately inclusive moving forward.

Evelyn Namara She is the founder at Vouch. She and her team have built technology to fuel transparent and traceability in distribution and disbursement of life-changing goods and services across the world. With the platform, they help NGOs and governments running cash-based programs to track the impact of programs and in the process eliminate the need of intermediaries who often reduce value in the whole supply-chain. They’ve also extended their offer to businesses and corporates by creating an Incentives platform that helps businesses and corporates create, manage and distribute coupon-based campaigns that facilitate acquisition, retention and rewarding of customers. Evelyn, is a technology entrepreneur who draws her passion in building real solutions that impact societies and communities using technology.
